Overview

The T-Motor VL8015 KV170 is a UAV Motor from the VL Series Propulsion System, recommended for 12S setups with up to 14.8kg max thrust/arm and 25kg recommended MTOW (Quad). The VL Series system concept pairs the VL8015 KV170 motor with the V80A ESC and G26 propeller, and supports electronic propeller-locking for VTOL and fixed-wing aerodynamic layouts.

Key Features

Fast propeller locking: 360 custom angle propeller-locking helps avoid turbulence from rotor rotation and helps keep fixed-wing aerodynamic layout from being affected.
Economical (adaptive) propeller locking: ESC automatically adjusts current to control torque based on external force changes, reducing power consumption and heat for energy saving.
Environmental rating: IPX5 (motor).
Centrifugal cooling design: YES.
