T-Motor AM30-F3P Competition Brushless Motor for Indoor Airplane (19g, up to 643.1g thrust, 2-3s)

Overview

T-Motor AM30-F3P Competition Brushless Motor for Indoor Airplane is a lightweight motor platform for F3P airplanes and the Backyard category. It is made of heat-resistant windings, arc magnets, and high-quality bearings. The AM30 is designed for quick switching between 3D and 4D prop setups and is best suited for 80g-180g class F3P indoor competition aircraft.

Key Features

• Packs a punch: bursting 643g of thrust in either direction (as shown in images).
• 19g motor class; best on 80g-180g class F3P indoor competition aircraft.
• AM series hollowed weight-reduction design: signature 5-spoke twin-layer hollowed process, open bottom design.
• 2.2g lighter; increases overall strength by 11% (as shown in images).
• Large diameter design for consistent cooling; 1:6 height-to-diameter ratio (as shown in images).
• Ultra wide diameter increases torque and cooling by 10% (as shown in images).
• Dual purpose propeller mount; quick swap during practice or competition.
• Designed for 8/9 in 3D/4D propellers (as shown in images).

Details

The T-Motor AM30 19g motor is rated up to 643g of thrust and is recommended for 80g180g class F3P indoor competition aircraft.

T-Motor AM series motors use a hollowed 5-spoke twin-layer design with an open bottom to reduce weight by 2.2 g and boost overall strength by 11%.

The JadeTeam motor uses a large-diameter design with a 1:6 height-to-diameter ratio and notes up to 10% improved torque and cooling.

The dual-purpose propeller mount lets you switch between 3D and 4D F3P prop setups with a quick hardware swap for 89 inch props.

AM30 motor specs list KV1450/KV1750 options, 18.6g weight, 40mm lead, and 23S LiPo rated voltage for compact builds.

The AM30 test report lists voltage, current, RPM, thrust, and efficiency across throttle settings to help with setup planning.

AM30 motor performance data lists throttle, voltage, current, power, RPM, thrust, and efficiency values when paired with a T8041 carbon fibre 3D propeller.

The performance table lists throttle-by-throttle voltage, current, power, RPM, thrust (g), and efficiency (g/W) for AM30 motor setups.

AM30 test data plots thrust in grams against throttle for the 1450KV motor across different propeller and voltage setups.

The AM30 package includes one KV1750 motor and a parts bag with O-rings and mounting hardware, alongside throttle curves at 8.4V and 12.6V.
