Hobbywing XeRun 2848 Sensored Brushless Motor for 1/14 Scale Heavy-Duty RC Cars (2800/4000/4600KV)

Overview

The Hobbywing XeRun 2848 Sensored Brushless Motor is designed for heavy-duty 1/14 scale applications (also listed for 1/12 scale). It is available in 2800KV / 4000KV / 4600KV options and supports mechanical endbell timing for CW or CCW rotation with an adjustable range of 20-40.

Using a 0.1 Nm load test comparison (same specifications motors), the maximum efficiency is stated as 6% higher, with internal temperature approximately 20C lower and external temperature 10C lower. The motor protection level is IP5X for dust resistance in dusty track environments.

Key Features

• High power output for heavy-duty 1/14 scale applications; power output is stated as increased by 15% when compared to motors of equal size and specifications.
• High efficiency and low temperature rise (0.1 Nm load test: max efficiency 6% higher; internal temperature ~20C lower; external temperature 10C lower).
• IP5X protection level for dustproof performance in off-road dusty track environments.
• Mechanical endbell timing: CW/CCW rotation; adjustable between 20-40.
• Low cogging moment for smooth and linear low-speed throttle response (stated as about 1/4 of popular brands).
• Modular design for easier disassembly, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Materials and design notes: iron core, high-precision grade bearings, high temperature resistant wire (200C), high temperature resistant rotor (180C), widened U-shaped gold-plated curved copper bars with increased gap for easier soldering.
