Overview

The T-Motor VL1180 KV60 is a VTOL UAV motor designed for high-thrust propulsion on 24S LiPo platforms, rated up to 88 kg max thrust per arm. It is part of the VL series propulsion system and is matched with the VL300A ESC and VZ45 propeller specifications provided below.

Key Features

Fast and economical propeller locking

  • 360 custom angle propeller-locking helps avoid turbulence from rotor rotation and supports stable aerodynamic layout for fixed-wing aircraft.
  • Adaptive propeller locking: ESC adjusts current to control torque based on external force changes, reducing power consumption and heat.
  • Propeller-locking power consumption is approximately 10 W.

Protection and monitoring

  • Dust-proof mesh and optimized motor structure are stated to elevate protection to IP45 in the VL series feature description.
  • Motor specification lists IP rating as IPX5.
  • Temperature feedback & real-time monitoring (stable and controllable operation under high load).
  • Centrifugal cooling design: YES.
